My mule has not foaled
Hamilton College: What many know and what I have learned: I am not alone and there is a Hill in between "the River to the Sea"
Dear President Tepper:
Harun al-Rashid, the most famous Abbasid Caliph, who appears in The Thousand and One Nights, and who ruled Islam from Baghdad, wrote in 802 A.D. to the Byzantine emperor, " I have read your letter, and the reply is what you will see, without you having to hear it. Farewell!"
I have read your letter—the one you have yet to write. And, will not.
However, while I wish I could bid the College farewell, I cannot because my mule has not yet foaled, nor have I received the denial letters from Dick or Joan. This means they cannot deny what they did without risking their reputations.
So, Shalom.
