seagulls and kingfishers
(Not as clever as crows)
A seagull in the mountains earned my trust.
On the river, a kingfisher knew I must.
You can tell a seagull a secret
with no need for privilege.
The kingfisher will find you
when you’re in trouble.
Not as clever as crows,
seagulls never judge you with their noses.
Grow friends in high places,
not roses.
Remember.
